This 0.5 FTE role focuses on both longitudinal care and walk-in services. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and treat patients while working both collaboratively and autonomously within a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities include establishing health management priorities, monitoring ongoing patient care, and prescribing within regulatory standards. Commitment to culturally appropriate care aligns with WFN's values and objectives in enhancing community health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage various undiagnosed conditions
- Monitor patient progress and treatment plans
- Communicate health findings to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for diagnostics
- Provide longitudinal and episodic primary care services
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Practitioner with CRNBC
- Completed Objective Structured Clinical Examination
- 3-5 years of NP experience preferred
- Valid BC Driver's license
- Successful Criminal Record Check
