Role Description The Nurse Practitioner role at Haztech is a full-time, on-site position based in Saskatchewan, Canada.

The Nurse

Practitioner will provide primary and occupational healthcare services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, in alignment with clinical guidelines and organizational protocols. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing care plans tailored to workers in industrial and remote settings. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, paramedics,



and safety personnel to support health and safety programs, emergency response, wellness initiatives, and return-to-work management.

The Nurse

Practitioner will also maintain accurate medical documentation, participate in health screening and monitoring programs, and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practices and patient care.

Qualifications

- Current Nurse Practitioner license/registration in good standing, eligible to practice in Saskatchewan, Canada.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up within primary care and/or occupational health settings.
- Experience working in remote, industrial, resource, or similar environments, with a focus on worker health and safety.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, safety, and emergency response professionals.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate electronic medical records and documentation aligned with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and return-to-work or disability management practices.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused in urgent or high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work in office in Saskatchewan, including potential shifts, extended hours, or rotational schedules as required by project needs.
- Relevant advanced education such as a Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent Nurse Practitioner training.
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS
