Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Capitale-Nationale, QC.

The Occupational

Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, develop personalized intervention plans, and implement therapeutic activities focused on improving daily living, motor, cognitive, and sensory skills.

Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals, documenting assessments and progress, communicating treatment goals with clients and families, and educating caregivers on strategies to support independence and well-being.



The role may involve working with pediatric and adult populations across various settings and adapting interventions to diverse needs.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and deliver client-centered interventions.
- Knowledge of Medicine and related health sciences to understand conditions, contraindications, and holistic care needs.
- Effective Communication skills for interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience or strong interest in Pediatrics, including assessment and intervention for children and youth.
- Relevant university degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for licensing or registration in Quebec.
- Ability to work on-site, manage a clinical caseload, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and ongoing professional development.
- Proficiency in French; English language skills are considered an asset.
