Job Summary ( Occupational Therapist ) :

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team. In this role, you will work with children facing various developmental, physical, and emotional challenges, helping them to achieve their maximum potential and improve their daily functioning.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities :

-Occupational Therapist to conduct comprehensive assessments of children to evaluate their developmental, sensory, and motor skills.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each child's specific needs and goals.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and activities to enhance children’s fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and social interactions.
- Collaborate closely with pediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support their child's development and promote independence.
- Monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.





Occupational Therapist Qualifications :

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Creativity and adaptability in implementing therapeutic interventions.

Working Conditions:

- Primarily located in a pediatric clinic setting.
- May involve flexible hours to accommodate client schedules.
