The Prospect

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Facilitate person centred care by providing an occupational therapy program for assigned residents.
- Plan, implement, evaluate and document treatment of residents.
- Teach and communicate with residents, other healthcare providers, physicians and families.
- Develop, monitor and review the occupational therapy services in the centre in collaboration with the Centre Management team.
- Ensure practice is consistent with occupational therapy philosophy.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Who You Are

EDUCATION

- Baccalaureate degree or Master's degree in occupational therapy from a recognized university.

RELATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must be registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT), and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Alberta Aids to Daily Living Authorizer if required by the program.
