Renew Neurotherapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Pembroke team and help us expand access to occupational therapy services in Pembroke, Petawawa, and the surrounding area.

We are open to part-time or full-time schedules and employee or independent contractor arrangements, making this an option for OTs seeking anything from a smaller clinical caseload to a more substantial ongoing role.

We are looking for an OT who values thoughtful, client-centred practice and is interested in working with a wide-ranging caseload within a supportive interdisciplinary environment.

About Renew Neurotherapy

Renew Neurotherapy is a community and clinic-based practice providing occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and neurofeedback services.

Our services are organized around five core areas:

- Mental Health & Emotional Regulation: Mental health, trauma, emotional regulation, adjustment, and interpersonal functioning
- Health Foundations & Self-Regulation: Stress regulation, fatigue management, activity balance, health routines, and symptom self-management
- Daily Living & Life Skills: Daily routines, organization, executive functioning, functional problem-solving, and participation at home and in the community
- Work & School Functioning: Attention, memory, planning, learning strategies, cognitive fatigue, return to work or school, and accommodations
- Sleep Disorders & Insomnia: CBT-I and behavioural sleep interventions for insomnia, sleep disruption, circadian difficulties, and related daytime fatigue

Our clients may be experiencing mental health concerns, neurodivergence, concussion or brain injury, chronic pain or illness, executive functioning difficulties, sleep disorders, or changes in function following illness or injury. Occupational therapists bring different areas of experience and clinical interest, and we do not expect every therapist to work across all areas of the practice. Caseloads can be developed according to the clinician's experience,



interests, and preferred areas of practice.

Renew also provides neurofeedback therapy. OTs interested in developing skills in neurofeedback can access training and mentorship within the practice. Previous neurofeedback experience is not required.

Qualifications

Applicants must

- Be registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills
- Be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary clinical team
- Demonstrate an interest in ongoing learning and career development

A valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a vehicle are required for clinicians providing community-based services. Experience in mental health, psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, neurodivergence, chronic pain, sleep, functional rehabilitation, or community-based occupational therapy would be an asset.

Applicants are not expected to have experience in all of these areas.

New graduates are welcome to apply. Mentorship and clinical support are available based on the therapist's experience and areas of practice.

Position Details

Compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience and employment arrangement
