Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. Work is a mix of local and out of town work for long periods of time. The ideal candidate will have previous oilfield experience in tri-quad gravel units and lowbed & Jeep combo for equipment hauling.

They will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently from the rig location to the dump site while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a robust commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate in tight locations.

Duties

- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload contaminated gravel, drilling rig cuttings and misc. Ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Load and unload equipment on job sites. Ensure proper tie down and loading.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Assist with automotive repair as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.

Requirements

- Valid Canadian Commercial Class One driver's license.
- Proven experience in oilfield hauling & tickets (H2S, First Aid & CSO).
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol test upon hiring.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime as needed.
