Job Overview

This is a field-based sales position focused on building relationships with automotive repair shops, garages, dealerships, body shops, and other automotive (or other industries) businesses, generating new accounts, and growing sales within our existing customer base. Your enthusiasm and technical sales expertise will help expand our market presence, foster customer loyalty, and contribute to our company's success. Duties

- Travel throughout the assigned territory to visit automotive repair shops, garages, dealerships, body shops, and other potential customers
- Prospect and actively generate new business accounts
- Conduct outbound sales through in-person visits, phone calls, follow-ups, and relationship building
- Introduce customers to our products, pricing, and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive parts and solutions
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and potential sales opportunities
- Maintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat business and increase account sales
- Develop a strong understanding of the assigned sales territory and identify new opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, leads, follow-ups, and sales activity




- Work closely with the internal sales and parts team to ensure excellent customer service
- Meet or exceed established sales and new-account targets

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the automotive parts industry is strongly preferred
- Previous outbound, outside, travelling, or B2B sales experience is required
- Knowledge of automotive parts, repair shops, garages, and the automotive aftermarket is a strong asset
- Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and develop new customer accounts
- Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable approaching new businesses and speaking directly with owners, managers, technicians, and purchasing staff
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while travelling throughout an assigned territory
- Organized and capable of managing leads, follow-ups, appointments, and customer relationships
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to grow sales and earn recent business
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
