Ideal for passionate surgeons who have completed their FRCS(Orth) and specialized training, this role offers a comprehensive experience in spinal surgery, focusing on both trauma and elective practices.
Candidates will rotate through various clinical teams, and gain experience in a range of subspecialties, including early onset scoliosis and degenerative conditions. The fellowship promotes in-depth learning through active participation in clinical workload, outpatient clinics, and surgical cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in outpatient clinics and ward rounds
- Attend surgical procedures,
assisting lead surgeons
- Take on project management within the clinical team
- Rotate through diverse spinal surgery teams
- Provide senior support in complicated cases
Requirements:
- Completion of FRCS(Orth) or equivalent
- Interest in spinal surgery subspecialties
- Surgical loupes recommended for use
