Hybrid Infusions
Edmonton
Hybrid Infusions is the independent Alberta producer behind Virtue Cannabis, and we’re growing our Distribution team. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to help prepare our cannabis products for the Canadian market.
This isn’t a traditional warehouse distribution role. Much of your day will involve carefully applying labels and excise stamps, sealing packages, completing product counts, and preparing outgoing orders according to strict regulatory requirements. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys organized, process-driven work and takes genuine pride in getting the small details right.
What You’ll Do
- Apply product labels and excise stamps accurately and consistently.
- Seal, inspect, count, and prepare packaged cannabis products.
- Help fulfill purchase orders and prepare finished products for outgoing shipments.
- Confirm that the correct products, labels, stamps, and quantities are used for each order.
- Complete accurate records for distribution activities, product counts, output, and sanitation.
- Identify and report damaged stamps, label concerns, count discrepancies, or other product issues.
- Operate labelling, packaging, and sealing equipment and related software accurately.
- Clean, sanitize, and perform routine maintenance on distribution equipment and tools.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents safely and according to established procedures.
- Prepare products, materials, equipment, and work areas according to the distribution schedule.
- Help identify opportunities to improve and standardize packaging and labelling processes.
- Support data collection and other distribution or post-production activities as needed.
- Assist the Processing team with trimming, processing, or packaging tasks when required.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, safety requirements, sanitation standards, and HACCP-based processes.
What the Work Is Really Like This is accurate, repetitive work where seemingly small details - such as label placement, stamp condition, product counts, and package seals - matter.
Most tasks are completed while seated at a workstation and involve repetitive hand movements, close visual attention, and maintaining focus for extended periods. Some days involve switching between several purchase orders; others may require completing the same task carefully for much of the shift.
You’ll occasionally need to stand, move products or materials, and assist with other Distribution or Processing tasks. The right person can maintain accuracy and consistency while adapting when the team’s priorities change.
Why You’ll Like Working Here
- Steady, year-round indoor work
- Hands-on training - you don’t need previous cannabis experience.
- Opportunities to learn about regulated packaging, excise stamps, labelling equipment, and order preparation.
- Cross-training and opportunities to build skills in other areas of cannabis production.
- A small,
collaborative team where reliability and quality matter.
What You Bring
- You’re dependable, punctual, and comfortable working within a structured schedule.
- You have strong attention to detail and can spot small differences or errors.
- You can stay focused while completing precise, repetitive tasks.
- You’re comfortable working with regulated products where accuracy and traceability are essential.
- You communicate discrepancies and concerns rather than allowing an issue to continue.
- You’re willing to move between tasks and support the team as priorities change.
Requirements
- Based in Edmonton or able to commute reliably to our facility.
- Comfortable completing detailed, repetitive work while seated for extended periods.
- Able to perform repetitive hand movements and maintain close visual attention throughout the task.

- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg) and perform movements such as bending, kneeling, and squatting when required.
- Willing to wear required PPE, including lab coats, gowns, masks, and eye protection.
