Paint Sales Associate – Full-Time

About the Role

Wilson Group Home Hardware in Yarmouth is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Paint Sales Associate to join our team. This is a key role in one of our busiest departments, serving both DIY customers and professional contractors using BeautiTone—Canada’s #1 Canadian-made retail paint.

If you enjoy helping customers choose the right products, working with colour, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented store, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

- Help customers select the right BeautiTone products, colours, and finishes for their projects
- Mix and tint paint accurately using in-store systems
- Provide expert advice on prep, application, and product performance
- Support contractors and repeat customers with efficient, knowledgeable service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked paint department
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising paint and related products

What We’re Looking For

- Retail or customer service experience (paint or building supply is a strong asset)
- Strong attention to detail—especially with colour matching and mixing




- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, particularly during spring/summer peak season
- Friendly, approachable, and confident working with both homeowners and contractors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
