We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced painters in preparing surfaces, handling tools, and completing painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your energy and enthusiasm will contribute to delivering high-quality finishes on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Assist with mixing paints, primers, and other materials according to project specifications
- Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely to support painting tasks
- Set up scaffolding, ladders, and rigging equipment to access high or hard-to-reach areas
- Support the application of paint, stain, or coatings on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces following blueprints or schematics
- Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris and organizing tools and materials




- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

- Prior construction experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with drywall installation, restoration work, or carpentry is a plus
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics enhances your ability to support complex projects
- Experience with residential or commercial painting projects is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a quick-paced setting
- Basic understanding of caulking, rigging, schematics, and industrial painting techniques is beneficial
