We are hiring a Part-Time Bartender to join our team at an upscale cocktail and caviar bar. We are looking for someone with solid bartending experience who is confident behind the bar, enjoys interacting with guests, and understands the importance of polished, attentive service.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about beverages, comfortable in a busy hospitality environment, and takes pride in preparing quality drinks while providing a memorable experience for every guest.

About the Role

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for managing the bar during service, preparing beverages, assisting guests with drink selections, and working closely with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly.

Previous bartending experience of 5 years or more is required.

Your Duties

- Prepare cocktails and other beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Serve wine, champagne, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Welcome guests at the bar and provide attentive, professional service.
- Offer recommendations based on guests' preferences and explain beverage selections when requested.
- Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-organized bar area.
- Ensure glassware, ingredients, garnishes, and other bar supplies are prepared for service.
- Enter orders and complete transactions accurately through the POS system.
- Keep track of bar supplies and advise management when inventory needs replenishment.
- Follow Ontario liquor laws, Smart Serve requirements, health regulations, and workplace procedures.
- Communicate effectively with servers, management,



and kitchen staff throughout service.
- Assist with bar preparation before opening and cleaning and organization at the end of the shift.
- Help maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional bartending experience.
- Background in a cocktail bar, restaurant, lounge, hotel, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Good understanding of cocktails, wine, champagne, and premium spirits.
- Strong communication and guest-service abilities.
- Comfortable making recommendations and interacting with a variety of customers.
- Able to remain calm, organized, and efficient during busy periods.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
- Smart Serve Certification is required or must be obtained as applicable.
- Reliable availability for part-time evening and weekend shifts.
- Professional presentation and a positive, team-oriented approach.
