Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time Early Childhood Educator (ECE), working scheduled hours on 7:30am to 8:30 am and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, This dynamic role offers an exciting prospect to positively influence young children’s development while maintaining a flexible schedule. Duties

- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about daily activities and children's progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and activity planning.
- Support team members in setting up product demos or educational materials when needed.
- Uphold health and safety standards by following proper hygiene protocols and emergency procedures.

Skills





- Previous supervising experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children and connect with parents effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to support diverse families.
- Knowledge of POS systems for managing attendance or activity sign-ins is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette for parent communication and inquiries.
- Ability to perform basic math for activity planning or snack counting.
- Familiarity with merchandising, stocking supplies, or retail sales is beneficial for classroom setup.
- Experience with cashiering or cash handling in retail or grocery store environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for families.
- Upselling skills can be useful when promoting educational products or programs.
