Nomad at Heart is a lifestyle brand inspired by movement, travel, the outdoors and the freedom to explore. We curate products for people who appreciate good design, quality, functionality and a life lived with a sense of adventure.

Our store brings together clothing, footwear, accessories, travel goods, outdoor products and lifestyle pieces that are designed to be used, loved and taken along for the journey.

The Role

We are looking for a Retail Associate who is energetic, personable and genuinely interested in travel, the outdoors and lifestyle products.

You will be responsible for creating an engaging and welcoming experience for customers while helping them discover products that fit their lifestyle and needs.

This is a hands-on retail position for someone who enjoys connecting with people, learning about products and keeping a store looking outstanding.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

- Welcome customers and create a friendly, relaxed and engaging shopping experience
- Ask questions to understand customers’ needs and make thoughtful product recommendations
- Develop strong knowledge of Nomad at Heart products, brands and collections
- Share product features, materials, functionality and stories with customers
- Assist customers with clothing, footwear, travel and outdoor product selections
- Build relationships with returning customers and encourage repeat visits
- Process sales accurately using Shopify POS
- Handle payments, receipts, exchanges and returns according to company policies
- Gift wrap purchases when required





Visual Merchandising

- Maintain a clean, organized and inspiring sales floor
- Assist with merchandising and styling the store
- Refresh displays and product stories throughout the season
- Ensure products are properly priced, folded, hung and presented
- Maintain fitting rooms and customer areas
- Help create the relaxed, adventurous atmosphere that defines Nomad at Heart

Store Operations

- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Receive, unpack and organize merchandise
- Assist with inventory and stock organization
- Prepare and process online orders when required
- Maintain back-of-house organization
- Replenish the sales floor throughout the day
- Assist with special events, promotions and seasonal changes
- Follow company procedures and retail standards

- Professional, approachable and aligned with the Nomad at Heart brand

Previous retail experience is an asset, but we are equally interested in someone with great energy, strong customer service instincts and a genuine passion for the Nomad at Heart lifestyle.

You might be someone who loves discovering new places, spending time outdoors, finding great gear, travelling, camping, hiking, skiing, cycling or simply appreciates well-designed products that make everyday life better.

Most importantly, you understand that great retail is about more than selling a product — it’s about helping someone find something they’ll genuinely love and use.

Schedule

Regular availability is required on:

Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday (Some Saturdays)

Additional hours may be available during holidays, special events and busy seasonal periods.
