Looking for a meaningful part-time role that’s a little different from the typical corporate role?

We’re hiring a friendly, dependable person to provide personal support, household assistance, companionship, and occasional help related to RecAbility, an accessible recreation and innovation venture.

The role supports a young entrepreneur and university graduate student in his mid twenties who leads RecAbility and is actively involved in accessible sport, community work, social activities and everyday life.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, and wants meaningful and flexible part-time hours.

PSW or Formal Caregiving experience is not required. Must be an adept communicator with a great attitude. If you have a passion for helping others, this chance is for you.

Duties

- Preparing simple, nutritious meals
- Light cleaning, laundry, dishes and maintaining organizzations
- Assistance with daily routines, getting ready and personal care
- Helping with transfers using assistive equipment, no heavy lifting required




- Errands, groceries or accompanying outings
- Training and direction can be provided

Schedule Part-time: approximately 2–3 days per week

Daytime and/or overnight availability may be available depending on scheduling needs. We’re especially interested in applicants who live in or can easily commute to the Lakeshore & Islington / South Etobicoke area.

Paid employment through payroll. WSIB Coverage is included. Must be eligible to work in Canada.
