As a part-time Retail Sales Associate at City Furniture & Appliances, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking quality furniture and appliances.
Your role is to provide exceptional customer service, assist in product selection, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Work schedule is 3 days per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are willing to look at different days if the right candidate comes along - however, Saturdays are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly and attend to their needs to provide personalized product recommendations.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the features and benefits of our product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
- Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining stock levels and organizing displays to ensure the showroom is well-presented.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Merchandising: Maintain tidy and cleanliness of the store. Assist with cleaning displays and merchandising.
Contributing to vacuuming, dusting, re-organizing, etc. Also assist with creating new furniture/appliance displays - accessorizing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous retail or sales experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends. Saturdays are a must.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
