We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This position is strictly part-time evenings & weekends. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits to encourage purchases
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the store displays are attractive and organized
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with customers both in person and over the phone
- Demonstrate organizational skills by managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods




- Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers

Skills

- Experience in technology sales or retail sales is advantageous, especially involving product demos and technical explanations
- Proficiency with merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash registers
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining a positive shopping experience
- Organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy and inventory well-managed
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers remotely or via follow-up calls
- Must be physically able to lift 40lbs consistently
