Lewis Motor Sales continues to grow. We are currently looking for a Dynamic EXPERIENCED Parts Counter Person for our Owen Sound location.

This position requires the ability to effectively communicate product features, benefits, Parts Look up and Sourcing, and effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment. You must have a strong technical aptitude, exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to details. You will be tasked with working in a small group setting where communication and a strong commitment to Team Work is Key

Qualifications:

- Experience working in Heavy Truck Parts with Class 3-8 Vehicle knowledge. Cummins/International Parts Sales and Procurement experience preferred.
- Experience in parts ordering and inventory control
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with relationship building capability
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support business needs
- Ability to stand and/or view computer screen for up to 8 hours per shift
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to and including 50+ pounds
- CDK/ADP business system knowledge is an asset
- Dealership and/or Truck Jobber experience is an asset

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in selecting the right parts and accessories for their needs,



utilizing strong communication and customer service skills.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and operating the POS system.
- Maintain organized inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and timely procurement of parts.
- Provide support in order fulfillment and address customer inquiries via phone and in-person, demonstrating effective negotiation and sales techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall sales performance and customer satisfaction

Summary: As a Parts Counter Person, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and facilitating efficient sales transactions. Reporting to the Parts Manager, your core skills in cashiering, communication, and sales will enable you to assist customers with their automotive parts needs effectively. Your organizational skills will play a vital role in inventory control and procurement processes.
