Job Summary

The Parts Driver is responsible for prompt and efficient shipping, receiving and delivery of parts orders.

What you offer

General Responsibilities:

- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment for customers, wholesale customers and suppliers.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times in company uniform
- Ensure the delivery truck is washed and cleaned either at start or completion of each day as required
- Ensure truck maintenance is conducted when applicable; i.e., oil changes, lube jobs, tires and daily gas fill up
- Establish all invoices on delivery sheets clearly marking cash or charge
- Formulate delivery orders against delivery sheet in sequence and then load truck
- Pick up and/or deliver parts to wholesale accounts, Manufacturer, Dealership and other auto dealers
- Ensure all delivery sheets are signed by all charge customers
- Ensure customers receive a credit slip for all parts picked up for return and copy is given to Parts counter staff for proper credit of account and inventory control
- Provide each customer with a copy of the invoice and parts and initials customer copy "paid"




- Verify invoice parts number to actual parts and delivers any counter orders to ordering counterman
- Balance cash against cash receipt invoices daily and is responsible for any short fall
- Maintain driver bin in a clean and orderly fashion
- Assist Shipper/Receiver and other Parts Department staff as necessary.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures in accordance with IAPA, WHIMS and company are strictly adhered to.
- Report to management any circumstance or condition that compromises the integrity or safety of the dealership, personnel, or customers.
- Promote every aspect of the Tony Graham Automotive Group to the client.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of the Tony Graham Automotive Group.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation (i.e., Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Human Rights Code, Highway Traffic Act, etc.)
- Any other responsibilities are required and/or as assigned

The successful candidate will have the following:

Education and Qualification

- Successful completion of Post-Secondary Level of Education
- Valid Driver’s license (ability to drive in all weather & road conditions)
- Acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Proven Attendance Record
- Reliable, Dependable and Professional
- Sound Computer Skills and ability to learn current software
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with co-workers, management and customers.

Language

- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Bilingualism, an asset

Monday to Friday

9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Pay Structure:

$19.00 per hour
