We are seeking a passionate and talented Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will craft Jamaican beef patty pastry and also beautiful and delectable baked goods and desserts that elevate our menu and delight our customers. Your creativity, attention to detail, and expertise in pastry arts will be essential in delivering exceptional quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of pastry for patties, baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts with precision and flair
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Assist in food presentation, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert recipes that align with brand standards




- Manage ingredient inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by accommodating special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction

Skills
- Extensive experience in baking and pastry within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Robust knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail for decoration, presentation, and consistency of baked goods
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with customers when necessary
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for takeout desserts to ensure freshness and quality
