Under the direction of the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Clerk:
- processes time entries and verifies accuracy;
- contacts schools for missing or incorrect time entries;
- updates time entry for summer school programs;
- troubleshoots and responds to time entry and general inquiries;
- assists with the set-up of casual and term employees;
- performs general clerical duties;
- performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills
- one year of Community college in a related field;
- two years of related experience;
- good keyboarding skills;
- positive interpersonal skills;
- basic Excel skills;
- individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
This is a permanent full time (1.0 FTE) position with an annual salary range of $56,299 $60,506 .A comprehensive benefits and pension plan are also available.
