BayCare's Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) Internship offers a structured pathway for RNs looking to build specialized skills in pediatric cardiac critical care at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital . You'll care for children with complex congenital and acquired heart conditions while working alongside a highly specialized multidisciplinary team.

At St. Joseph's Children's Hospital , home to more than 170 pediatric specialists across 25 disciplines, you'll work alongside nationally recognized experts while caring for some of the region's most complex pediatric patients in a family-centered environment.

- Location: St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital - Tampa, FL

- Length: 24 weeks

- Schedule: Full-time (72 hours per pay period)- Rotating day/night shifts during training →
- Full-time night shift during work agreement

- Commitment: Hours-based agreement begins once training is completed

- Qualifications

:
- Active RN license by December 1, 2026
- BLS Certification
- ASN/ADN degree or higher

Preferred :

- 1+ year of RN experience in acute care
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
