At St. Joseph's Children's Hospital , home to more than 170 pediatric specialists across 25 disciplines, you'll work alongside nationally recognized experts while caring for some of the region's most complex pediatric patients in a family-centered environment.

- Start Date: January 4th, 2027

- Location: St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital - Tampa, FL

- Length: 24 weeks

- Schedule: Full-time (72 hours per pay period)- Rotating day/night shifts during training →
- Full-time night shift during work agreement

- Commitment: Hours-based agreement begins once training is completed

- What You’ll Experience

- Structured Learning: Classroom didactic education + one-on-one precepted clinical orientation
- Hands-On Experience: Provide high-quality care using established nursing standards
- Professional Growth: Develop advanced pediatric critical care or cardiac critical care skills
- Leadership Development: Opportunities to serve as preceptor or charge nurse after training
- Dynamic Environment: Exposure to cutting-edge technology and complex pediatric cases

Required

- Qualifications

:
- Active RN license by December 1st, 2026
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN/ADN)

Preferred :

- 1+ year of RN experience in acute care
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
