Company Description One Care Medical and Children's Clinic is a community-based, multi-specialty physician clinic located in Scarborough, serving families across Scarborough, Markham, and the Durham Region within the Greater Toronto Area. Established in 2007, the clinic functions as a referral center for pediatrics, general specialists, family medicine, and non-urgent medical care, and continues to grow with the East Toronto communities.

The clinic operates with a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system integrated with Ontario’s health information infrastructure, including HRM, OLIS, e-referral, and network pharmacies. Role Description The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents in an on-site clinical setting located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This full-time role involves conducting pediatric assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, providing preventive care, and offering guidance on growth, development, and immunizations.

The Pediatrician will collaborate closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals, coordinate referrals to specialists,



and contribute to continuity of care through accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Daily activities include reviewing laboratory and diagnostic results, communicating care plans with families, participating in interdisciplinary case discussions, and supporting quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care to deliver safe, effective, and comprehensive patient care.
- Advanced skills in Pediatrics to manage a broad range of conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a multi-specialty clinic environment.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent), completion of pediatric residency, and eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Certification in pediatrics (e.g., Royal College or equivalent), with current CPR/BLS and neonatal resuscitation training preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to compassionate, family-centered, and culturally sensitive care.
- Experience using electronic medical record systems and comfort working within integrated health information networks.
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a willingness to participate in teaching, quality improvement, or community outreach activities.
