Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription labels and package medications for patient pickup or delivery
- Maintain organized inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Support data entry and documentation related to medication records and patient files
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy area
Experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols is advantageous
- Experience in patient care environments demonstrating strong communication skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
