Duties

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting prescription pickups.
- Maintain accurate medical records, update patient information, and document medication transactions in compliance with legal standards.
- Support pharmacy operations by handling administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims.




- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace to uphold safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate productive medication administration and patient support.

Qualifications

- Pharmacy assistant work/ volunteer experience an advantage
- Solid understanding of medical terminology related to medications and patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to assist with medication administration accurately and responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
