Part-Time Physio / Chiropractic Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Part-Time Physio / Chiropractic Assistant to join our multidisciplinary clinic.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner, professional, comfortable working with patients, and has knowledge of commonly used rehabilitation modalities and clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Physiotherapy and Chiropractic practitioners with patient care as directed
- Set up patients for treatments and therapeutic modalities
- Knowledge and proper use of common modalities such as TENS/IFC, therapeutic ultrasound, heat/cold therapy, and other electrotherapy equipment
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises and rehabilitation programs under practitioner supervision
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Clean and disinfect treatment tables, equipment, and reusable supplies
- Monitor patient comfort during treatments and communicate any concerns to the treating practitioner
- Assist with patient flow to help appointments run efficiently and on time
- Maintain organized patient files and treatment-related documentation
- Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient follow-ups
- Help maintain treatment supplies and inventory
- Assist with basic administrative duties, billing, and data entry as needed




- Support the clinical and administrative team with day-to-day tasks

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Physio Assistant, Chiropractic Assistant, PTA/OTA, or Rehabilitation Assistant is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with therapeutic modalities is strongly preferred
- Experience in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or multidisciplinary clinic is an asset
- Comfortable working directly with patients
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to follow practitioner instructions and clinic protocols carefully
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Comfortable with computers and clinic scheduling/documentation systems
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and willing to learn
- Strong understanding of cleanliness, infection control, and patient safety

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour
