Operating for domestic affairs agencies, coast guards, fisheries protection, search and rescue, and other public safety organizations, our Airborne Maritime Surveillance Division (AMSD) offers immediate access to special mission aircraft, sensors, and crew. To support our mission, PAL Aerospace is looking for Training Managers to join our AMSD team in Campbell River, BC, Halifax, NS or St.
The Training
Manager is responsible for delivering, evaluating, and maintaining pilot training programs to ensure compliance with company standards, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and approved training programs. This role supports safe, standardized flight operations through effective instruction, mentoring, and performance assessment.
Training Delivery
Conduct ground school, simulator, and line training for flight crew. Deliver recurrent,
upgrade, and initial aircraft type training. Ensure all instruction aligns with Company Operations Manual (COM), SOPs, and approved training programs.
Identify training deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Provide structured feedback and coaching to trainees. Support standardization initiatives across fleets and bases. Participate in training meetings and calibration sessions.
Assist in development and revision of training programs, manuals, and courseware. Provide input on training improvements based on operational experience. Support implementation of new procedures, aircraft, or regulatory requirements.
Ensure all training complies with CARs, company manuals, and approved syllabi. Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
