We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our brunch restaurant in Uxbridge. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen setting while supporting food preparation and service. Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and basic meal assembly under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment through proper washing and sanitizing procedures
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling of ingredients and cleanliness standards
- Assist with serving guests when necessary, ensuring prompt and courteous service




- Help with general kitchen cleanup during and after shifts to uphold health regulations and safety standards
- Support meal preparation activities as needed to ensure timely service during busy hours

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward assisting colleagues and serving guests
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or dishes
