Home Hardware Building Centre – Woodstock is looking for an PRO DeskContractor Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of building materials, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to build lasting relationships with contractors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to contractors and retail customers.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare accurate quotes and material lists.
- Assist customers with product selection and building material requirements.
- Continuously develop knowledge of products, building materials, and construction practices.
- Identify recent sales opportunities and build relationships with prospective customers.
- Work closely with the outside contractor sales team and other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Follow up on quotes and opportunities to help grow sales.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, and construction processes.




- Experience in the building supply or construction industry is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable learning and using computer programs and business systems.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A willingness to learn and continually develop product and industry knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
