Half-time Educational Assistant (3 hours per day)

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

- Experience working with students with diverse needs
- Understanding of the escalation cycle
- Ability to form strong relationships with students,
- Seeing the best in every student in an inclusive school setting
- Assisting and supporting students through individual support plans and/or behaviour support plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
- Willingness to work as part of a team, take direction and follow student and classroom programs
- Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
- Ability to work in a versatile learning environment and make adjustments for classroom or individual child needs
- Supervision duties (recess, classroom,



lunch, etc.)
- We will require all successful applicants to provide a police record check with vulnerable sector check and an intervention record check
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience
