Now we’re looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in fresh, beautiful displays and enjoys hands-on food production to join our Sherwood team. This role combines traditional produce responsibilities with daily production, including cutting, portioning, bagging, and packaging fresh fruits and vegetables.

What you’ll do

- Deliver an exceptional customer experience in the produce department
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection and recommendations
- Stock, rotate, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the day
- Maintain clean, full, and visually appealing displays
- Monitor product freshness, quality, and shrink
- Wash, trim, cut, peel, and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables
- Portion, weigh, bag, package, and label produce for sale
- Complete daily production while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Support merchandising and seasonal displays
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing backroom inventory
- Maintain clean and sanitary production and prep areas
- Follow all food safety and store standards

What we’re looking for

- A passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable with hands-on food preparation and production
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, cleanliness,



and organization
- Previous grocery, produce, or food preparation experience is an asset
- Adaptable availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry products and stand for extended periods

All entry-level retail and kitchen roles begin at minimum wage ($17.60/hr). Pay is negotiable based on experience.
