Manitoba Cooperative Honey Producers Limited (MCHP) is one of the two proud cooperatives that own Bee Maid Honey Limited. MCHP represents over 150 dedicated beekeepers across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Together, we care for our honeybees and harvest pure, delicious honey that’s enjoyed in households across Canada and beyond.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Manitoba Cooperative Honey Producers is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Production Supervisor to join our Winnipeg production team on an 18-month term basis.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor will lead daily production and packaging operations while fostering a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement in a food manufacturing setting.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and support production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Plan staffing, equipment, and production resources to meet daily production requirements.
- Train, coach, and develop team members while addressing performance and attendance matters.
- Monitor production KPIs, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health and safety programs.
- Provide hands-on support on the production floor as required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma; post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, SQF, or other food safety systems is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
WORKING CONDITIONS This position works primarily within a food manufacturing workplace and requires:
- The ability to work a schedule of five days per week (Monday to Friday), including 1-2 evening shifts each week.
- Flexibility to support production requirements as needed.
- Extended periods of standing and moderate physical activity.
- The ability to manage changing priorities and multiple demands.
- Occasional availability outside regular hours to support operational needs
