PROJECT COORDINATOR
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will provide administrative, operational, and project support to ensure projects are planned, coordinated, and completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in maintaining accurate documentation. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have strong communication skills when working with clients, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational activities for assigned projects.
- Support project managers to maintain accurate project documentation, records, schedules, and tracking systems.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project requirements are understood and addressed.
- Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines and communicate potential delays or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with tracking project costs, invoicing, purchase orders, and other financial documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of project reports, closeout documentation, and lessons learned.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety requirements are followed throughout project activities.
- Perform other project coordination and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a related role as an asset.
- Experience in construction, industrial, energy, transportation, or field-service environments is considered an asset.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A valid driver's license.
