Founded in 1995, YES Employment + Entrepreneurship is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to enriching the community by providing English-language support services to help Quebecers find employment and start and grow businesses.
YES Employment + Entrepreneurship is seeking an experienced Employment Services Manager to lead a portfolio of employment services that supports Quebecers in building meaningful and sustainable careers.
Project Coordinator (Part-time, 3 Days/Week) (One Year Contract)

YES Employment + Entrepreneurship is seeking a highly organized and relationship-driven Project Coordinator to coordinate the implementation of the Bridge & Belong (B&B;) Initiative, a community-building project funded through the Empowerment Initiative for English-speaking Communities (EIEC).
This highly collaborative role combines project coordination, community engagement, partnership development, event planning, mentorship coordination, resource development, participant outreach, and evaluation. The coordinator will work with community partners across Quebec to deliver Community Voices Events, mentorship opportunities, resource-sharing initiatives, and capacity-building activities.
ABOUT THE BRIDGE & BELONG INITIATIVE The B&B; Initiative strengthens social connections, community participation, skilled networks, and access to opportunities for English-speaking women and gender-diverse individuals across Quebec, particularly newcomers, racialized individuals, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and seniors.
The role helps ensure the project meets its approved objectives, participant targets, performance indicators, reporting deadlines, and funding obligations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities, workplans, timelines, deliverables, schedules, records, contact databases, and tracking tools.
- Build and maintain relationships with ES community organizations and project partners across Quebec, and participate in Regional Community Network (RDN) Community of Practice sessions and other required funder activities.
- Plan and coordinate Community Voices Events, including venue logistics, registration, outreach, scheduling, facilitation support, programming, workshops, networking opportunities, resource hub activities, and follow-up.
- Coordinate communications with panelists, facilitators, speakers, partners, participants, mentors,
and mentees.
- Support mentor and mentee recruitment, onboarding, matching, orientation, engagement, retention, and culturally responsive matching practices.
- Track project outputs, participant engagement, partnership activities, event attendance, mentorship outcomes, milestones, risks, targets, and performance indicators.
- Develop and manage surveys, feedback forms, evaluation tools, quantitative and qualitative data, and accurate audit-ready project documentation.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end reports, outcome measurement, funder reporting, and other accountability requirements.
- Support resource guides, referral materials, promotion, outreach, participant recruitment, funder acknowledgement, and visibility requirements in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Use participant and stakeholder feedback to support continuous improvement, evaluation, innovation, and future service development, and contribute to other YES activities as needed.

- Delivering inclusive and accessible community gatherings, workshops, and engagement activities that foster meaningful connections and participation.
- Expanding a mentorship network focused on career development, entrepreneurship, leadership, and community integration.
- Strengthening partnerships across English-Speaking Quebec communities and increasing access to community resources and opportunities.
- Meeting project milestones, performance indicators, funding requirements, and reporting deadlines.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS
- A DEC, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in community development, social services, project management, event coordination, communications, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
- Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in project coordination, community programming, event management, partnership development, mentorship programs, or related areas.
- Strong project coordination, event planning, organizational, interpersonal, networking, relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with data collection, surveys, reporting, outcome tracking, grant reporting, program evaluation, or community partnerships.
- An inclusive, culturally responsive, participant-centered, service-oriented approach, with professionalism, confidentiality, sound judgement, accountability, adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Quebec’s English-speaking communities, diverse communities, or equity-deserving populations is an asset.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Planner, and SharePoint; experience with Dynamics 365 or another CRM; Canva and/or Adobe Acrobat Pro is an asset.
- Excellent spoken and written English French
- As an organization that provides services in English this position requires excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Must have a driver’s license and be able to travel to the regions
