We're Hiring: Property Manager – Montreal Portfolio

B. Chanda Realty Inc. is looking for a dependable, detail-driven Property Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties across Montreal. If you take pride in keeping tenants happy, properties well-maintained, and operations running like clockwork — we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage day-to-day operations for residential and commercial rental properties, including tenant relations, lease administration, and renewals

Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate timely maintenance and repairs

Handle rent collection, follow up on arrears, and maintain accurate financial records

Screen and place new tenants, including background and reference checks

Ensure full compliance with Quebec residential tenancy laws (Tribunal administratif du logement) and municipal bylaws

Respond promptly to tenant concerns, maintenance requests, and emergencies

Coordinate with contractors, cleaners, and maintenance vendors for repairs and upkeep

Provide regular reporting on occupancy, expenses, and property performance

Drive to different building locations across Montreal for inspections, tenant meetings, and maintenance coordination

What We're Looking For

2+ years of property management experience (residential and/or commercial preferred)

Completely bilingual (English/French)



— spoken and written — required

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle — must be able to drive to multiple building locations

Strong knowledge of Quebec landlord-tenant regulations

Excellent communication skills — you'll be the main point of contact for tenants, contractors, and ownership

Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple properties and priorities at once

Based in or able to regularly travel within the Montreal area

Experience with property management software is an asset
