Public Sector Procurement Specialist Position: Public Sector Procurement Specialist Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $80–$120/hour Location: Remote About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Public Sector Procurement Specialists, Contract Managers, and Government Purchasing Professionals to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects .
You'll apply your expertise to develop realistic government procurement scenarios , evaluate AI-generated procurement strategies and documentation, and create structured evaluation frameworks reflecting real-world public sector purchasing standards.
Responsibilities
Develop realistic public sector procurement scenarios involving solicitations, bids, contracts, vendor selection, and compliance.
Evaluate AI-generated RFPs, RFQs, procurement plans, proposals, and contract documentation .
Assess procurement workflows for accuracy, compliance, transparency, and value for money .
Create structured evaluation rubrics that reflect professional procurement judgment.
Analyze vendor qualifications, bids, pricing, contract terms, and procurement risks .
Provide clear written feedback to improve AI-generated procurement outputs.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in public sector procurement, government contracting, purchasing,
or contract management.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, competitive bidding, solicitation, vendor evaluation, and contract administration .
Experience working with government agencies or public sector organizations .
Strong analytical, documentation, and written communication skills .
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment .
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with federal, state, or local government procurement .
Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, public procurement regulations, or government contracting standards .
Experience with ERP, e-procurement, contract management, or vendor management systems .
Skilled certifications such as CPSM, NIGP-CPP, or CPCM are a plus.
Familiarity with AI evaluation, machine learning, or data annotation is a plus.
Compensation
Competitive compensation of $80–$120/hour.
