QA Automation Engineer – Healthcare Claims

Location: Remote (Canada)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation and healthcare claims . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing healthcare applications, claims processing workflows, and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for healthcare applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Validate healthcare claims processing , including claim intake, adjudication, pricing, and payment workflows.
- Work closely with development and business teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Execute SQL queries for backend/database validation.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Java, Python, or similar technologies .




- Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in QA Automation and test framework development .
- Hands-on experience with Healthcare Claims .
- Experience with API testing and SQL/database validation .
- Positive understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred:

- Experience with HealthRules Payor (HRP) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with Healthfirst or other healthcare payer environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare EDI transactions such as 837, 835, and 834 is a plus.
