Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QC Manager - Level 2 to oversee quality assurance and control processes within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will lead quality management initiatives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement efforts. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our products, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of our manufacturing team.
The QC Manager - Level 2 will be responsible for analyzing quality data, managing inspection procedures, and leading project management activities related to quality initiatives.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.
- Lead quality inspections and audits across production lines to ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
- Manage quality assurance programs to uphold product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Oversee the training of staff on QA/QC protocols and best practices.
- Lead project management efforts for quality improvement projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards throughout all manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Skills
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to manufacturing quality metrics.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes combined with expertise in quality control and inspection techniques.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, management systems, and QA/QC methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills to lead initiatives from conception through completion.
- Ability to develop and implement effective quality management strategies that improve product consistency.
- Solid communication skills for training staff, reporting findings, and collaborating across departments.
- Familiarity with industry standards ASME B31.1 and CSA Standard W47.1
This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards within a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to continuous process improvements that support organizational growth. Pay: $70.00-$85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 per week
