LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Azure Cloud) for a permanent full time position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Remote (Must work EST hours)

Security Requirement

Must be eligible for Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance (5 years in Canada)

Key Tasks

- Validate application workflows, permissions, and security controls within Azure Cloud Environments.
- Verify functional and non-functional requirements for cloud-native microservices.
- Monitor cloud logs using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to troubleshoot defects.
- Integrate automated regression tests into Azure DevOps Release Pipelines.
- Configure quality gates in Azure Repos pull request (PR) workflows.
- Design and execute automated API tests via Postman.
- Track and manage software defects, risks, and execution tasks inside Azure Boards.
- Author structured test plans and matrices mapped directly to agile user stories.
- Collaborate closely with Developers and DevOps teams during sprint planning and grooming.

Key Qualifications

- 3+ Years with Azure services deploymnets & testing CI/CD.
- Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Python, or Java) and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience executing tests within an active Azure Cloud Architecture.

Qualifications

- Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus)
- ALM & CI/CD: Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Test Plans), GitHub Actions
- Automation Frameworks
- API Testing Tools: Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI




- Database & Analytics: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Advanced T-SQL queries
- Languages: C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Assets

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer.

Compensation Based on qualifications and experience: $60,000 - $70,000
