At our 25,000 sq. foot facility, we support all build quantities, from prototypes to small to medium, and high-volume production. Generally, our lead time is about 2 weeks, and expedited delivery is available.

Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in SMT manufacturing processes and TH processes, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards (e.g., IPC)
- Analyze and review SMT/TH production processes, identify potential areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality and yield
- Program and perform regular inspections on SMT/TH components, PCBs, and final assemblies using various testing equipment (e.g., AOI, X-ray inspection, and functional testing)
- Investigate quality defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with production, engineering, and communicate with customers
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to generate reports and metrics, providing actionable insights to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components used in production
- Maintain and update quality control documentation, including inspection records, testing reports, and certificates of compliance.
- Ensure manufacturing processes and products meet all regulatory and compliance requirements, including environmental standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Read Assembly Drawings and follow all steps and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Quality Engineer or similar role in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of SMT/TH processes, equipment, and materials, with a focus on quality assurance practices.
- Experience with inspection equipment such as Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), X-ray inspection, and solder joint testing.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Certification in IPC-A-610 is an asset
Job Type: Full time Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
