To help our company grow to new heights, we are currently looking for a Quality Systems Associate who would be reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. The successful candidate will contribute and support the transfer of product design from development to manufacturing, maintenance and improvement of production processes at Cadex Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Assurance & Document Control

- Manages the full lifecycle of QMS documents (e.g., SOPs, work instructions, quality manuals, technical drawings, and specifications), controlling revisions, approvals, and distribution.
- Ensures all document control processes and the eQMS comply with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements (electronic records/signatures), GDP, and international standards.
- Leverages deep knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 to actively facilitate audit readiness, providing necessary documentation for QMS, regulatory, and customer audits.
- Implements document change requests to ensure alignment with change management procedures and quality improvements.
- Controls document revisions, approvals, and distribution processes,



ensuring the latest versions are accessible to relevant personnel.
- Conducts routine audits of controlled documents and records, leading process improvement initiatives for documentation workflows.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall quality objectives of the organization.

eQMS Administration & Training Management

- Serves as the primary system administrator and superuser for the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), providing ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Oversees the corporate Training Program, ensuring staff are adequately trained and records are accurately tracked within the eQMS.
- Supports the initial phase of the eQMS implementation, including system configuration and the migration of legacy documents and records into the eQMS platform.
- Trains employees on document control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and proficiency with new eQMS workflows.

Quality Operations Support

- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation supports operational efficiency.
- Supports in the proper implementation of the Change Management processes.
- Assists Engineering and Purchasing with BOM and manufacturer data maintenance, and Operations with equipment calibration data.
- Generates Certificate of Compliance (CoC) and calibration certificates for Cadex product.
- Acts as the Departmental Asset Management Representative
- Provides support in maintaining regulatory files for Engineering.
- Maintains NDA files for Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Operations.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Regulatory Expertise:



In-depth working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 with the proven ability to assist QA Management in audit preparations. Strong understanding of FDA regulations and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn, administer, test, and troubleshoot specialized document management and ERP software.
- Analytical Abilities: Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Professional Skills: Highly organized, self-directed, and exceptionally detail-oriented. Effective communicator capable of interfacing directly with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in document control within an electronics manufacturing or related industry.
- Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Experience working in an environment regulated by ISO 9001 and associated standards.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing or coordinating a corporate Training Program within a regulated environment.
- Preferred: Experience assisting with the initial setup, configuration, and legacy data migration phases of a new eQMS rollout.
- Experience serving as a system administrator, superuser, or primary support point of contact for an eQMS platform.
