About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our growing staffing team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of recruitment experience within a staffing agency and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.

You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, sourcing qualified candidates, conducting screening and interviews, and ensuring positions are filled within tight timelines — often within 1 to 24 hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and fulfill client staffing requirements accurately and efficiently.
- Recruit and place drivers, general labourers, skilled workers, and unskilled personnel.
- Source candidates through job boards, recruitment platforms, databases, referrals, social media, and other channels.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and initial qualification assessments.
- Verify candidate availability, experience, certifications, licenses, and other job requirements.
- Match candidates with suitable positions based on client requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, onboarding, orientations, and start dates.
- Maintain an updated candidate database and recruitment records.
- Follow up with candidates to ensure attendance and successful placement.
- Work closely with clients and internal operations teams to understand changing staffing needs.
- Handle multiple urgent staffing requests simultaneously.
- Meet strict recruitment deadlines, including same-day and next-day hiring requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong pool of readily available candidates.




- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable employment standards.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience working as a Recruiter within a staffing/recruitment agency.
- Experience recruiting drivers, general labourers, skilled and unskilled workers is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize urgent staffing requirements and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable handling multiple client requirements at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with recruitment platforms such as Indeed and other job boards is an asset.
