Brucejack is one of the highest-grade gold mines in the world – a remote underground operation famously located on top of a glacier in northwestern British Columbia. Your Impact

As an HD Surface Mechanic, you will play a critical role in keeping mobile equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. Your expertise will support site operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives, while promoting a strong safety-first culture.

As Part of the Team

- Inspect, service, troubleshoot,



and repair heavy mobile equipment and support vehicles.
- Execute maintenance work orders in collaboration with Operations, Planning, Reliability, and Supply Chain teams.
- Complete accurate maintenance documentation and repair records.
- Mentor apprentices and support workforce development.
- Identify hazards, mitigate risks, and uphold environmental and safety standards.
- Contribute to maintenance planning, job plans, and continuous improvement programs.

Prerequisites

- Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile equipment.
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with equipment such as loaders, graders, cranes, transport trucks, and related machinery.
- Commitment to safety excellence.
- Experience with CAT ET, SIS, Cummins Insite, or similar diagnostic software is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and relevant industry certifications are considered assets.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule at a remote site and successfully meet pre-employment testing requirements.

Work Environment





This is a site-based role supporting mining operations in a remote environment. The position involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, operating around heavy equipment, and working 12-hour shifts on a rotational schedule.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $63.35/hr. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
