Duties

- Enforce game rules consistently and fairly to maintain integrity of play during flag football matches
- Make quick, confident decisions on fouls, penalties, and game flow to keep the game moving smoothly
- Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators to explain calls and ensure understanding
- Monitor player conduct to promote sportsmanship and address any misconduct promptly
- Manage game timing, scorekeeping, and record keeping accurately throughout each match
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent injuries and respond appropriately in case of incidents
- Prepare for each game by checking equipment, field conditions, and ensuring all necessary materials are available

Experience





- Previous experience officiating or refereeing in flag football or similar sports is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong knowledge of flag football rules and gameplay mechanics is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Ability to remain impartial, fair, and respectful in high-energy situations
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and moving swiftly across the field during games
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and sportsmanship standards
