About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Dietitian / Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and experience supporting clients with diabetes, weight management, cancer, chronic illness, and other complex health conditions.

This position is ideal for a dietitian who takes a client-centred, evidence-based approach and is comfortable working with individuals who may have multiple medical, nutritional, and lifestyle concerns.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
- Provide nutrition counselling for clients with diabetes, prediabetes, and metabolic health concerns.
- Support clients with healthy, sustainable weight loss and weight management.
- Provide nutrition support to individuals living with cancer, including addressing nutrition needs during and after treatment.
- Work with clients experiencing chronic illnesses and complex medical conditions.
- Provide education on meal planning, healthy eating, lifestyle changes, and disease-specific nutrition.
- Monitor client progress and modify nutrition plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary approach.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
- Provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to clients and families.

Qualifications

- Registered Dietitian (RD)



designation in Canada and eligible for registration with the applicable provincial regulatory body.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
- Clinical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Diabetes management
- Weight management
- Oncology/cancer nutrition
- Chronic disease management
- Medical nutrition therapy
- Robust communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to evidence-based and culturally sensitive nutrition care.

Qualifications Experience working with clients experiencing multiple or complex health conditions is considered an asset. Additional training or experience in diabetes education, oncology nutrition, weight management, or behavioural/lifestyle counselling is an advantage.
