We are seeking a dynamic Registered Early Childhood Educator, or a Teacher registered with the Ontario College of Teachers, or a Child and Youth Care Worker who is looking to join a great team at a wonderful community school! We are located within St. George's Junior School. We are play based learning and follow the children's interest when program planning.

In this role, you will be required to:

- Provide supervision of a group of school-aged children (ages 4-12)
- Develop, plan and implement daily programming
- Escort children on field trips on PA Days, Holiday Break and March Break
- Create and maintain a safe, clean and engaging environment in all Programme spaces
- Work collaboratively with all Programme staff and school to ensure a smooth delivery of services and programme activities
- Complete observations and documentation on all the children in the classroom
- Adhere to the How Does Learning Happen (ELECT document), AQI assessment, Ministry of Education requirements, CCEYA (Child Care and Early Years Act), Toronto Public Health, Company's Policies and Procedures etc.

This position is:

- Split shift during school days. Before care is 7:15am - 10:00 am and After care is 2:30-6pm.
- Full day (8am-5.30pm) on PA Days, Holiday Break and March Break
- Available for 6 weeks in the summer for a Summer Camp working full 8 hour days
- Provided with paid prep-time for your programming, which can be work from home




- Provided with paid time for documentations and observations, which can be work from home
- Approximately 30 - 35 hours/week during the school week
- Approximately 40 hours/week during the summer months

Qualifications:

- RECE certification and in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators.

- OCT or CYC Degree/Diploma
- Valid C.P.R. and First Aid Certification
- Clear Vulnerable Reference check required
- Up-to-date immunizations (+TB test)
- Ability to commute to location for split shifts

Wage: -$27/hour including all wage enhancements for RECEs

Term:

September 2026 - August 2026, opportunity for a new contract if available

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
