Meaningful Clinical Work. Specialized Expertise. A Team That Values Great Therapists.

Wayfound Mental Health Group is a national centre of excellence providing specialized mental health services across Calgary, Edmonton, and the Greater Toronto Area.

Our work has a particular focus on first responders, public safety personnel, veterans, military members, and professionals whose careers regularly expose them to trauma and high-stress environments.

As our Ontario practices grows, we are looking for master's-level Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists who want to provide exceptional clinical care while developing or expanding their expertise in trauma and operational stress injuries.

You do not need to come to Wayfound already knowing everything about first responder mental health. We are equally interested in strong therapists who bring excellent clinical foundations, curiosity, professionalism, and a desire to grow within this specialized area of practice.

The Opportunity

Our therapists provide evidence-informed psychotherapy to individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including trauma, PTSD, occupational stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the cumulative effects of working in high-stress professions.

Depending on your training and experience, your work may include:

- Individual psychotherapy
- Trauma and PTSD treatment

- Work with first responders and other trauma-exposed professionals
- Couples and family therapy
- Occupational and return-to-work focused treatment
- Collaboration with psychologists and other mental health professionals
- Participation in regular clinical consultation

Wayfound supports clinicians in practicing with independence while remaining connected to a team that values collaboration, consultation, and continued professional development. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have:

- A master's degree in counseling, psychotherapy, psychology, or a related clinical discipline
- Registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Experience providing individual psychotherapy
- Strong therapeutic relationship and communication skills
- Excellent clinical documentation and report-writing abilities
- A professional, dependable, and responsive approach to client care
- Interest in trauma, PTSD, occupational mental health, or first responder populations
- The ability to practice independently while working collaboratively with other clinicians

Training in evidence-based approaches to trauma treatment is considered an asset. Previous experience working with first responders,

public safety personnel, veterans, WSIB, disability insurers, or occupational mental health is also an asset, but is not required for the right clinician.

Why Wayfound?

Wayfound offers an opportunity to build a practice around work that matters.

Our clinicians work with people who routinely serve their communities under difficult circumstances. We believe those professionals deserve exceptional mental health care, and we believe the clinicians providing that care deserve an environment that supports excellent practice.

As part of Wayfound, you will have access to:

- A team-oriented team of experienced mental health professionals
- Regular clinical consultation opportunities
- Opportunities to develop specialized expertise in trauma and first responder mental health
- Ongoing learning and professional development
- Flexible scheduling
- Experienced administrative staff and electronic medical record/scheduling system (Jane)
- Opportunities for both in-person and virtual clinical work
