Role Description This is a part-time independent contractor position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload. The role is hybrid, based in Barrie, with flexibility for remote work.

The therapist will:

- Conduct comprehensive client assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide trauma-informed psychotherapy and counselling
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate within a supportive clinical team environment

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology
- Full registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the mental health field
- Experience and understanding of trauma, PTSD, and complex PTSD
- EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training completed (or in progress)
- Ability to work independently while also valuing collaboration and consultation
- Excellent clinical, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends

Assets

- Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations
- Experience supporting first responders
- Interest in continued EMDR training, consultation, and certification
